The OSA service
In short, an unannounced, in-store OSA audit provides you with a shopper’s-eye view of what you offer them. You may be interested in the on-shelf availability of all products or, more typically, our teams will target a product range of special interest. This exercise is primarily designed to provide information, but action can also be taken to rectify any issues at the time and place they are identified.

Initially a small group of stores is audited by Orridge. A small team is typically required, making the exercise very cost-effective. But there are lower-cost options available, which work alongside a planned stocktake.
These options do not provide the full benefits of a stand-alone approach, but they are very cost-effective. A bespoke reporting suite is tailored to assist you to decide if a problem exists on a scale that needs to be addressed and, if yes, some suggestions for where to concentrate further effort.
In conclusion, after trialling, a review meeting is arranged to assess whether the activity has met its objectives. The reasons for OSA issues are numerous, but with targeted activity based on reliable data action can certainly be taken to tackle them.
