1. Why did Shaunak’s use Orridge as their stocktaking supplier?

Orridge are a well-established company with an excellent reputation. Their scanning technology is renowned for being very accurate.

Why use a third party stocktaking service?

Orridge have a large Nationwide team that can support all our pharmacies. They were able to allocate stocktakers to all sites close to the end of the month as per our request. This meant that we had less adjustments, improving the accuracy of each stocktake.

The most important thing for us is to have up-to-date market price information to ensure that our stock take value is as accurate as possible and Orridge can provide this.

We were able to share the data with RWA which allowed for further analysis of our stock numbers and enabled us to identify excess or dead stock within our pharmacies.
